Where you don't have to have a vignette or pay a toll?
There are places where you don’t need to buy a vignette. Slovenia is no exception.
The Gorenjska Highway (A2)
The Gorenjska highway (A2) connects Austria with Slovenia and includes the section from the Austrian border to the Slovenian junction Hrušica and back. Tolls on this route include the Karavanke tunnel fee, which applies to the area between the first motorway junctions on both sides of the border: the Hrušica junction in Slovenia and the Podrožca–Rosenbach junction in Austria.

The Koper Expressway (H6)
The Koper expressway (H6) runs from the Koper (Semedela) intersection to the end of the H6 Koper–Lucija route in both directions. Due to the closure of the coastal road between Koper and Izola, it is not necessary to have an e-vignette to pass through the Markovec tunnel.
The Maribor Expressway (H2)
The Maribor expressway (H2), which connects Pesnica with Tezno, was removed from the electronic toll system as a result of the category change.
